Gulf Connexions, one of the region’s fastest growing recruitment agencies headquartered in Bahrain, has appointed Doug Tait as Head of its UK operations.

This key appointment draws on Tait’s extensive experience and knowledge of more than 22 years as an audit and advisory services partner with KPMG, Bahrain and Qatar. According to Derek Dorman, Director of Gulf Connexions, Tait and his UK team are integral to our forward strategy for establishing a network of offices providing professional services and expertise at the regional and international level.

Tait’s professional expertise in KPMG covered assurance, banking and finance, internal audit services, information risk management, risk advisory services (RAS), and HR & development. He was also the Chairman of the Middle East Banking and Finance Committee, a founding member of the Middle East Professional Practice and Training Committee, a member of the Middle East RAS Committee, and the Middle East firms’ representative on the KPMG International Banking and Finance Steering Group.

With his strong connections with the Bahrain business sector and a high-profile position in the community, Tait is delighted to continue in the professional development of the region’s workforce.
